Dungeons & Dragons and the Influence of Tabletop RPGs

Our book Dungeons & Dreamers explores a similar thread although we spend more time focusing on the four decades after the release of D&D.

However John and I were in agreement that you couldn’t tell the story of computer games without first introducing D&D because the game had such a profound impact on early game developers.
