Learn Work Play
As the editorial director on this book project, I developed a comprehensive editorial workflow from writing to publication. I managed the freelance writers, establishing a systematic process for interviews, transcription, and editing. I oversaw the design team, creating a workflow for multiple interior layouts and cover design iterations.
I conducted one-third of the interviews featured in the book, handling their transcription and editing. I edited all content while collaborating with freelancers to implement an efficient production system. I developed a detailed schedule to ensure timely delivery for the anniversary event, completing the project on time and under budget.
The 2019/2020 academic year marked the 20th anniversary of the ETC. To celebrate, we connected with alumni to document their stories about ETC experiences, how the program shaped their careers, and its impact on their work. These interviews became Learn Work Play: Twenty Years of ETC Stories. As a professional degree program, ETC’s success is reflected in its alumni, and we selected diverse representatives across years and industries to showcase their accomplishments. The book features twenty interviews, with plans to continue documenting alumni stories.
